For your comfort and the comfort of others, Almost Paradise Lodging has a strict No Smoking policy. There will be absolutely no smoking of any product inside the cabins or guest houses. Smoking is permitted outside only, well away from any open doors or windows. Violators will be evicted without refund and an additional cleaning fee in the amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card.

Lost and Forgotten Items
Guests, please check and double check before you check-out from your stay to make sure you have not forgotten any items at the cabin or guest house you stay in.
If you believe you have forgotten items please call. In the event we find the item, we will hold it for you.
Guests may choose to pick up the forgotten item at the main office, or they may send a pre-paid postage mailing container of the appropriate size for the forgotten item. We are happy to drop it in the mail for you.

Please be considerate and prompt. Staff is on duty at 11:00 a.m. to clean with a narrow time frame to prepare the units for the next guests.
- Rainier, Paradise, Sunrise, Woodland, Wildflower accommodates one or two people.
- Meadow accommodates one to four people.
- Children are people.
- Children need to be 10 years or older with mature, adult supervision.
- An infant that is non-mobile, i.e. not crawling or toddling at the time of stay, is acceptable.
- No additional person beyond the original reservation is allowed.
- No visitors during your stay.
Rates and Taxes
Rates are per night based on single/double occupancy.

A valid credit card, Visa or MasterCard, with card number, expiration date, 3 digit security code and billing address is required to guarantee all reservations.
Booking Deposit/Cancellation Fee
The Booking Deposit/Cancellation Fee amount is 50% of stay or the amount of one nights lodging, whichever amount is greater.
Advance cancellation notice* of 15 days before arrival date is required for a full refund of the Booking Deposit/Cancellation Fee, less $25 processing fee if a payment has been processed.
*Holiday periods require a 30 day cancellation notice.
*Reservations made three or more months in advance require a 30 day cancellation notice.
In the event you cancel within the 15 day (or 30 day) cancellation policy, we reserve the right to charge your credit card on file the amount of the Booking Deposit/Cancellation Fee, if you have not previously sent a deposit via regular mail.
Changing dates, rescheduling, moving dates, dropping dates or otherwise changing any aspect of your reservation is considered a cancellation of one reservation and initiating of a new reservation. If this is within the 15 day (or 30 day) cancellation notice policy, the Booking Deposit/Cancellation Fee will be charged. The reason for this is when a reservation is made the dates are removed from the availability calendar and all other inquiries for these dates are turned away and are referred to other lodging facilities.
Partial cancellations of a reservation within our 15 day (or 30 day) cancellation policy will result in the amount of the Booking Deposit/Cancellation Fee going towards the night/nights cancelled.
Almost Paradise Lodging strives to maintain the cabin and guest house rentals, furnishings, equipment and amenities in the finest condition. Almost Paradise Lodging is not responsible for unforeseen adverse road and/or weather conditions, power outages, failures of appliances such as hot tub, sauna, gas fireplace, kitchen appliance, DVD, CD, TV, etc. whether due to acts of nature or the misuse of guests. Almost Paradise Lodging will schedule any repair and/or replacement necessary as soon as possible under prevailing circumstances. Any inconveniences, under which we may have no immediate control, do not warrant any refund of rental monies. No refunds for early departures.
During the winter season please be prepared for winter/snowy conditions at or near Mt. Rainier. The state and county roads are well maintained, yet traction tires, all-wheel drive, 4-wheel drive and/or chains may be required. It is highly recommended to carry chains that fit your vehicle tires. There are no refunds for adverse weather or road conditions.
With travel insurance you can protect your vacation investment from unexpected events such as severe weather, natural disaster, extended power outage, sickness, injury, death, armed forces leave revocation, jury duty, trip delay and more. Travel insurance information may be found online through various travel protection insurance companies, such as CSA Travel Protection.
Liability Release/Assumption of Risk
By accepting and making a reservation, it is agreed that the terms and policies listed here are understood and agreed upon and that all guests are assuming any risk arising from their use of the premises. Guests agree to hold harmless Almost Paradise Lodging from any injury, loss, liability, damage or cost which they or others in their party incur due to occupancy on the premises.
Right to Refuse Service
Almost Paradise reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
Almost Paradise reserves the right to evict violators of policies without refund.
Self-catering independent stay rentals
The cabins, guest houses and vacation home rentals are self-catering independent stays. Guests will be respectful and care for the cabin or guest house as they would care for their own home, or better, and will leave the cabin or guest house in the same condition as found at the time of arrival, including the washing of dishes. Our staff will wash linens and towels, change bedding, replenish towels, remove garbage, vacuum and clean floors and disinfect the kitchen and bathroom fixtures between stays of guests.
Hot tub sanitation and care
Guests will not remove the sanitation floater provided in each hot tub. Guests will not put any additives in the hot tub; no bubble bath, bath oils, etc. Guests will not use glass beverage containers in or around the hot tub; please use plastic. Be careful to not spill beverages or food in the hot tub.
Almost Paradise reserves the right to charge your credit card or debit card on file for damage, loss, smoking, pets, or excessive cleaning subject to the total amount of booking and evict violators of policies without refund. If damage exceeds the booking amount, your credit card will be billed accordingly.
In the event of damage/loss/smoking/pets/rental or hot tub excess cleaning, some applicable fees for repair/replacement/cleaning may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Damaged/stained robe; $50 to replace, if it cannot be cleaned
- Damaged/stained linen set: $60 to replace, if it cannot be cleaned
- Damaged/stained quilt; $50 to clean or $200 to replace, if it cannot be cleaned
- Excessive cleaning of cabin or guest house; $30 per hour, with one hour minimum
- Emergency dumping and cleaning of hot tub; $100

You are not paying to be disrespectful of our property and cause damages or leave a mess behind. You are paying for the opportunity to enjoy quality accommodations, which we work diligently to maintain.
